Manufacturing Support (MNSP)This is an overnight position Monday - Thursday from 6:
30 PM to 6:
30 AM plus some Fridays transitioning to a 4X4 which includes weekends and holidays.
OverviewThe Manufacturing Support (MNSP) position may require the employee to perform many tasks.
These tasks may include physical manipulation or movement of product or materials, machine operations, forklift operation or other jobs as deemed necessary by business demands.
Essential FunctionsAssist in operations of a production line.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Produce product that meets or exceeds customer specifications.
Operate manual and automated machines.
Monitor machine for efficient operation.
Weigh and record all production and scrap generated.
Place finished product in proper storage area as needed using forklift, pallet jack, etc.
Load and unload reels and raw materials as needed.
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds with physical force up to 75 pounds.
Must be able to work independently without constant oversight.
Traverse and inspect cable for flaws.
Label all products produced by the line.
Assists operators in performance of their duties as an aid in minimizing machine downtime and maximizing run time.
Monitor product and inform operator of anything questionableRelieves operators for breaks, lunch, and personal delays by monitoring machine run time.
Obtains supplies as directed.
Assists in setups, string-ups, supply, finished reel changes, and storing finished reels of core.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience and SkillsMust have at least 3 years of previous work experience or transferrable military experience.
Read, understand and follow job instructions.
Preferred Experience and SkillsPrevious Forklift experience.
Work Hours 12 hour shifts from 6:
30 PM - 6:
30 AM Monday - Thursday transitioning to a 4-day on/4 day-off schedule including weekends and holidays.
